Hello to the fabulous business people I know. This is the first of my "this is not a newsletter". It is my intention to communicate my passion and my knowledge about brand to help you in your business. WISHING you success, happiness and joy in your business for October.

When you think about your business and what you do it is very important to imagine how that will be expressed through your brand. Brand can be magical when you get it right. Brand absolutely needs to accomplish what your business is, does and who your target audience is. But even more importantly it needs to contain you and your core values, your personality and why you are so passionate about what you do. Your brand is merely the image you are trying to use when competing with your business competitors so don’t follow the crowd, be unique and remember every time you communicate with your brand someone is going to remember who you are.

Tauranga Women’s Refuge, Artists of Plenty 2010 Calendar Launch was a huge success raising awareness and money for the 24 hour crisis line through the sale of the calendar. The “be a friend” brand has been developed to give the community the opportunity to acknowledge and support. We are in phase two of the marketing strategy and working towards implementing this in the new year. 'new' brand project...

Welcome to One Good Idea's new client who is developing a clothing distribution company within New Zealand with the unique and sole target of teenage girls (not a girl but nearly a women). The clothing range is currently being designed and developed in Australia. The New Zealand distributor needs to be ready to launch 2010/2011 Summer Range in March 2010. One Good Idea will work with this client to set up the entire business concept, brand identity, planning and research.
